When we think of suede, most of us think of the fall season. It might feel like you’re breaking a fashion rule by wearing suede in the summer, but sometimes you have to go outside of the norm! While we wouldn’t recommend wearing a heavy suede bootie on a 30 degree celsius day, we’re thinking of a little suede sandal instead. Accessorizing a delicate outfit with a fun textured shoe or purse can bring a fun contrast to your summer look.
There’s something about natural suede that can elevate your look of the day. It’s also a lot more practical than some of us may think:
- It’s soft to the touch and comfortable
- Suede can stretch and quickly restores its shape
- It’s light and porous
- It has good heat transfer; in the summer it will keep you cool and in the winter it will keep you warm
